I usually try to get to Flossmoor station a few times a year and I just checked their blog. It hasn't been updates and the post on Feb 4th talks about serving Matt's last brew. Are they sans brewer? Do they have any seasonals on tap? Thanks for the insight.
I believe their assistant Mark moved on to Bell's recently to be a cellarman... as I believe he is from Michigan originally. Nick is still there as head brewer though. Saw him at Stoutfest briefly. As far as "What is going on".. I believe Nick is just a little more laid back in his style and "Blog Updates".
To quote bob Dylan...... I used to care but things have changed. Last years Pre dark lord party featured lots of good stuff (especially the sours from what is now two brewers ago) but man the new stuff I've been getting on tap has been relativly lackluster to downright bad. On a side note, the average American pub food is still really tasty, so it's still a decent dining option over some other suburban generic chain American fare. Maybe the new brewers just got to get his rubber boots wet a little, there's always next years Pre dark lord day party.
