Hey all. My wife will be teaching a college course in Eau Claire for six weeks starting at the end of the month. I'll be staying put in Minneapolis, but she'll be home on weekends and I'll probably go out there a couple times. What should I keep an eye out for? I'll probably tour the Leinie's brewery (just because) and I've heard good things about Lazy Monk, but anything else I should be aware of?

Go to the Firehouse. Always good options on tap.

Lazy monk is great, check it out.

Stop by the raw deal in menomonie. They just put together a small brewing system and a friend of mine is brewing for them. I've had his homebrew before and it's excellent. Lucette is in menomonie as well, adding to the case for stopping there on your way to/from Eau Claire.

And of course you'll be passing by Dave's brew farm, how can you say no to that??

Awesome, thanks for the tips guys. I'll definitely check 'em all out. I'm sure I'll be doing multiple trips, so it shouldn't be hard to visit them all.

Stop by the coffee grounds for a good bottle selection and TG on tap.

I stopped at Coffee Grounds when I passed through EC for work. TG was readily available days after delivery. Was told people in area indifferent towards it.
Nonetheless they had a good selection, worth a stop
