Barbecue sauce, I tell them I'm sending it to a friend who loves South Carolina's mustard sauce but can't get it where they are.

I don't - I drop my boxes off at an authorized Fedex pick-up site. I walk in, say I have a label and drop it on the counter.

I infuse artisanal olive oils and ship them around the world. My business has really taken off!

I actually brought in a bottle of unlabeled roasted garlic olive oil to my FedEx place. They loved it! Now they ask me how my business is going

Expanding on this so everybody knows whats up.

    1. Sign up for an account via Fedex.com
    2. Create a shipment, print shipping label, tape to your box.
    3. Walk into a Fedex store and put your box on the counter without saying a word.
    4. Walk away
    5. Wink at Fedex employee to assert your dominance.

Homemade pickles! I even brought them a jar that I actually made and they loved them.

Nice. It was smooth sailing for a couple months but lately I've been getting a few raised eyebrows. Was even turned away once.

I just have pickups scheduled at my house. It's pretty damn convenient.

Glass collectibles. I leave out the "and incidental contents" part.

I leave it inside my garage by the door, and when I schedule a pickup, I put instructions on where it is. I live in a rural area.

You should just post a pic of your actual label. It pretty much sums us all up.

Malt vinegar. BBQ sauce. Mustard. Various jams and chutneys. Foodstuffs seem to be a fairly common choice.

I'll add one to that - stick a back-up label in the box in case the one on the box is damaged.

Why would you do this? If the label is damaged, FedEx just puts on a new one. They won't open the box in hopes that you put one in there. And if they did open it, don't you think they'd be concerned about "what's in the box"?

    I say nada,

I print the labels in my office and the box is picked up with the typical UPS haul.

On a side note, my estimation skills are horrible. As the person that picks up my box is the driver and takes the package directly into circulation do you think he even looks at the weight? My business has UPS pick up and drop off every day.
