Would Fuller's 1845 be a good one to age?

I imagine it would be fine for a year or two but not much more. It's cheap enough to test that theory at least

It might age well. And you can get 4 for £6.00 in Tesco...

My stash usually has between 60 and 150 bottles in it: some new, others ageing away like me. Currently I have a number around the top end with over 100 new to me brews: the rest are ageing or just old friends that I repeat buy. 60% British, the rest mostly ageing Belgians at the moment, apart from a few German and US ones I've picked up on my travels.

Too many to list but Trappist beers feature in my ageing cabinet. Pride of place in a 1.5 litre 2007 Christmas labelled Rochefort 8 (best before end of 2012 according to the blurb): not too sure when that beauty will be broached. Next exciting one is a 0.75 litre 2010 Kasteelbier Cuvée du Chateau. Loads of sour Belgians chuckling to themselves also.

    Happy Christmas
