Any idea of good beer bars that will be open and close by to the Cyclorama? Would guess a lot of people will be in that area and all the bars listed above will be impossible for us to get to walking.

I know Stoddard's is closed and Picco's closes at 2pm today.

Honestly...y'all should pick a hotel lobby, swing by the packie on your way, and hang out at the hotel. Pickings are slim in that area when the sun is out...

Picco is usually my go-to for craft beer in the South End.

Salty Pig (in the Back Bay) is relatively close to the South End. Small but good craft beer selection. Their Twitter feed hasn't said if they plan to close early today.

Coda has some good beers on tap this weekend, but you'll have to check whether they'll be open. More deets.

Bukowski's in the Back Bay says they'll be open.

Bukowski Tavern near Hynes? As of yesterday they were claiming to be open.

You might want to try The Salty Pig, Jacob Wirths, Coda, Bukowskis, Picco, Stoddard's, 5 Napkins, and Champions onside the Marriott. It's going to be extremely tough, but I see everything except for Champions to probably be closing.

I would like the odds at very small places where one person who lives nearby could effectively run it by flicking the lights on and tending bar. Coda or Bukowski's would fit the bill...

From my recent calls around Camberville: Meadhall is closing now. Precinct/Independent/Back Bar in Union Sq don't open till later in the afternoon, so I doubt they open. Atwoods is open and will stay open, but no kitchen or band. Lord Hobo still plans to be open per their fb page.

Closing roads at 4...given how potential traffic will be and/or the condition of the roads, I'd be heading home ASAP. Get settled and drain the cellar people. Be safe, not stupid.

Coda and Picco are closed for the day. Some BAs are gathering at Hostel at 40 Berkley St. to share some bottles starting around 4.
