Hi guys, looks like some new beers are hitting the scene soon.

Anybody have any leads on sightings and prices for:

    New Belgium Tart Lychee
    Firestone Walker Parabola (soon)
    Rhustahler Cans!

What other cool new beers have you seen?

Don't buy up all the parabola, I'll need to pick up a few bottles since it's so hit or miss down here.

I'm looking forward to parabola now that I have a solid amount of space in my fridge but I work nights now which cuts down on my drinking and purchasing.

I was wondering if anyone has seen knee deep Simtra on shelves?

    FW Wookey jack is out.

I saw Wookey Jack and Tonque Buckler in Vacaville today, no Simtra yet.

The Shack on 52nd or 53rd and Folsom had seven bottles of Simtra today according to one of my friends.

Unsure, but definitely worth it. Had it at Beechwood BBQ around Xmas. Delish. Simtra was on tap at Xtreme Pizza on Exposition. Ask for Fred and see when it is going to be on tap again.

Old Bluehair by Big Sky can be found at total wine in roseville if any of you are interested in it. Sacto folks might want to try the one in Arden before making the trek.

How is the Olde Bluehair, I picked up a bottle last night at Total Wine. Most of the reviews on it are older, so I'm assuming its not as good fresh? Should I just throw it in the cellar and forget about it?

is there anything special going on in sacramento for craft beer week? i will be in town may 16th-19th and while the daytime will mostly be spent with in-laws, i'm hoping to try some cool beer/food.

flaming grill and the shack sound good, is there any other suggestions you guys could give? track 7 or rubicon?

Rubicon is always a great place to hit up! Good food & beer. Monkey Knife Fight is teh shizzzzzz. Raley Field Brewfest on the 19th too, literally on the other side of I-5 from Downtown Sac. I'll prolly be volunteering.

I bought one for the short term and one for the long term but I don't know if I really want to drink one right away. Barleywines tend to do better after at least a year for the hops to mellow. It's a limited release and small batch beer. I'm not surprised about the limited number of reviews and age. It's quite the dilemma, do you drink it now when you know it may not be as good, or do you save it for later when you know it will likely age with grace... There are a number of beers that I'm sitting on that have presented me with this quandary even though I bought a bottle for the sole purpose of drinking in the near term.
