This. I don't really have much sympathy for the OP if they are restricted by religion. That's 100% your choice, dude. What are you whining about?

I think Three Floyd's would laugh at your request. They are not interested in honoring the Sabbath. It is called DARK LORD DAY for a reason.

Being Jewish myself (though by no means strictly observant), I think this thread could have been framed a bit better in the context of "hey, anybody else out there wish there were more Sunday beer festivals so that those whose observe Sabbath had more options to pursue the hobby?" or..."hey, I am an observant Jew in New York, and I bet some Sunday beer festivals would do very well in my area given the religious restrictions many individuals observe." While it may have incited some flaming, it certainly would have mediated some of that which was encountered here...

what do you mean rather rest on Saturdays from a long week of work? What day are you factoring in to be hungover? And I think people would always rather be resting from a long day of drinking than resting because they had to work all week.

Fun drinking event rest > work rest.

What's all this Sunday recovery nonsense? I don't get hungover. I can drink until 4 AM and be up at 0630 ready for work. A professional drinker like me never drinks too much, too fast. Amateurs get drunk. Pros like me pace themselves The goal is to never be drunk or sober but mildly buzzed all day long.

I think the real question is, "How in the world did this thread make it to 4 pages?"

^^this^^. Haven't logged on since Friday, you know, with the whole not doing stuff yesterday thing, and I was amazed to have 17 alerts, mostly referring to this thread. I 100% thought this thing died on Friday. Hope everyone got wasted yesterday and recovered nicely today. Me? I had a Lancaster Milk Stout last night, and I hope to crack an Old Stock Aged in Brandy Barrels tonight.
