I found one in my fridge.

Anywho, had a Boon Gueuze (growing on me... still not my favourite gueuze), and now Boon Kriek (enjoyable).

Lvivske Porter is a more than fair beer.

    Is it available here?

Please excuse my ignorance. I wasn't aware of any beers from there, over here.

Homebrewed new zealand pale ale, most likely going to finish up with some Laphroaig. On the commercial beer front, have been loving the super cheap Big Eye IPA and literally cannot stop thinking about watermelon warhead or barrel fermented hop hog.

    Are you Lukie in disguise?

Anyway, Coopers Celebration. Experimenting with my yardie as to what we can use in the randall to make it more delicious.

They managed to make a crap beer with Nelson Sauvin in it, which in itself is a success, so just throw heaps of Nelson Sauvin on it, and maybe some galaxy.

I wouldn't say success, more achievement.

You read my mind Lukie, well, my yardies mind. We've gone for a bucket load (technical term) of Galaxy, some Nelson Sauvin, some dried bitter orange peel and (in honour of Lukie) a few chillis.

It's what we tried with the Colonial Pale Ale. I don't think it worked for that, but customers liked it, so who am I to judge.

Spottily. There are two or three firms bringing in various Eastern European beers and that's one I've seen a few times. Some of them have importer labels, some don't. You wouldn't know it was Lvivske Porter from the label - it was all Cyrillic and looks like squiggly πOPTEP. Look for it in places where they have Georgian wines, lots of pickled products, odd vodkas and where the Rochefort 8 is in the light beer section.

Tonight: Stoke Bohemian Ale [sic] - what the Czechs would make if they made a strong Kölsch with Kiwi hops. Quite liked it. Also Mikkeller Santa's Little Helper - pretty good, nice balance. Now drinking a Liefman's Gouldenband, which is one of those beers that after you've had it a few times just tastes like itself.

I am throwing it out there, so you can all loathe me. I hate Goudenband.

    Hate it with a passion.
