Love 12 packs. Even if you’re not short on cash, the value is unbeatable. Some of the 6-packs in the stores I go to are $11, but for $14 you can get a 12-pack of the same beer. That is the ultimate no-brainer. Similar answer most of the time for would you rather have a 4-pack of trendy pounders vs. 12 full cans.

    My favorites:
    Sierra Nevada seasonals (minus spring)
    Two Hearted
Jack’s Abby any pack they make
    Notch Who Loves the Sun
    Paulaner Oktoberfest both types
Night Shift Nite Heavy and Santilli

I've seen those cans as singles, so it makes sense that they come in larger packs, but I've never seen them either.

    Yup,

I was hoping for Celebration 12 packs but only the Mix and SNPA or Torpedo, can’t remember. Celebration six packs were $10.49

Target does charge tax on top of the shelf price.

    Enjoy

Any variety pack from Sierra Nevada or Schlafly. Sam Adams used to be a go-to but they've stopped including so many of my favorites. Best bang for the buck here is almost always Schlafly. Founders Centennial 15 packs can sometimes be had on sale for 15 bucks.

Hmm, that's a bit 'different'. At places like Wegmans, Giant, Whole Food,... the price you pay is what is listed (no sales tax). Do you understand why Target charges sales tax? Does Target limit purchases to 192 ounces of beer total?

My local Retail Beer Distributor has the Sierra Nevada Sampler in stock and their prices is $21.49 ($22.78 out the door with sales tax).

I am thinking about heading down to Total Wine & More (Claymont) tomorrow to buy some wine (I have a $15 off coupon). Maybe buy a 12-pack of Celebration while I am there ($14.99 total price but you know that already).

    Cheers!

    Howdy Jack,

I do not know the why of the tax. I did not ask. My first time making a purchase there.I thought it a bit odd as well. I will guess qty falls into the 192oz as do other grocers. I did not ask. I was at TW the other week. It was really easy to do curbside. I knew what I wanted and stayed away from IPA except the Celebration and Dankful. I even got a call the morning of the pick up to alert me of an out of stock item and was asked if I wanted a replacement or refund. I also got some late August SN Stout in my order.

    Enjoy

    Stroh's... anything fire-brewed can't be bad.

Should be available in your neck of the woods.

The OCD in me hates the word you in the thread title, haha.

Sierra Nevada for sure. Von Trapp’s mix 12 is phenomenal but pretty sure unavailable to you.

It's very hard to beat Sierra Nevada as far as bang for the buck is concerned. The Nooner Pils is also a bargain when it's around, and so many other things in 6's rather than 12's that are excellent and pretty cheap. Some of the Oskar Blues stuff is a good deal too.

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but Nooner's been retired for a while now.

Bohemia is hands down my favorite imported Mexican macro beer. But I’ve never seen any of these variations. So curious now...
