Coin flip. Hopslam is great, but extremely fresh CCB Jai Alai is probably my fav. That being said, I've only had about a half dozen of the top 100.

Abrasive. It has some sort of demonic hold on me - I see it in a store and am powerless not to buy some. At $17 a four pack it's killing me.

Yeah I bought some more today.

Without a doubt....Pliny the Younger. BUT....this was back in 2009 when I first tasted the golden nectar of the Gods. I walked straight into the brewery and there was maybe 8 people in there for lunch. I ordered a buttload of Consecration batch 1 and decided....let me try this Younger stuff. I was hooked. It was a little above room temperature, no head and just...perfect. Honestly, now.....it doesn't taste the same as the "first time". Man, I felt like I just wrote a Penthouse forum. It was that good.

Very fortunate indeed. Some of the most generous guys I know shared a lot of those brews with me.

Trappistes Rochefort 10 has been my all time favorite since first tasting. It is a complex and strong, well-balanced Belgian ale.

Tie for first, Bourbon Dark Lord and Grey Monday. A handful of other 5's as "Had", but these win in the battle of the 5's.

I have 3 5's : KBS, BCBCS and Chimay Blue. I'm probably too easy on the Chimay but I love it a few years old.
