I only notice geographic trends in my reviews when traveling or following a trade.

Some days lots other days none

Been trying many more styles lately however I typically fall back on my favorites when I just want something to wind down the day.

I'd say 90%+ new.. as it's my tradition / obsession to try a new bottled beer every evening when I'm at home.. been doing this for 7 or 8 years now. As of last night I'm up to 748 different bottles.
I travel to feed this obsession, like to a wedding recently in the UK, returning with 125 new bottles in my wife's car.
Only ever go to regulars favourites after this first new bottle of the evening, or when I'm out at friends or in the pub.

You'll love San Diego talk about a great beer town, even the minor places would stand tall in the midwest. Awesome avatar btw, great album by a great band:wink:

My drinking pattern? I always go dark to light. Whether it's walking into a bar/brew pub, a store, or trying a new brewer, I always go with the dark stuff 1st, just my nature. Stout, porter, scotch ale/wee heavy, bocks; weizen, dopple, etc, old ale,
    brown ale, alt, even dunkels.
However, I always have to have a mix of dark & light on hand @ home. As well as a mix of abv's it all depends on where the day/evening or meal may be taking me.

90% homebrew. no locals, no pubs, no bars. I do like a few regulars and I hit the Store when I want to try some brewer I like special, like beer camp or something. I do know I would love to drink exports again, but its not going to happen money wise. more of a rut than a pattern. I do know I bitch about founders prices and wait for the 1 dollar off coupon allot. lol

Only pattern I can really think of: I do know this I do "Seem" drink more if I read beer web sites, I see daily posts and some day's I think hum I will post a silly picture and I do.

Even though it is not even my favorite style, I review more IPAs than anything because I want to review them fresh. Every other style in my inventory gets pushed back.

I don't really have a pattern. I probably drink a ratio of about 50/50 old favorites and new beers. I usually run to thick, dark, strong, rich, high abv stuff. Think barrel aged. I love IPA's and usually drink them on a regular basis. Sometimes I actually crave them, but occasionally won't be in the mood for the bitterness. Like I said, no real pattern!

Fri/Sat for the most part. Nice to detox throughout the week a bit.
