Over the years I picked up three bottles of Black Tuesday in separate trades that involved lots of different beers. I traded two of them away for other semi-whales - or so I thought - turns out I swapped all three over the last two years without realizing it. I've owned three bottles and never tried the damn beer.

I was at a friends house last year and he had a 4 pack of BCBS. We each drank one during the Liverpool-Chelsea match, then I moved on to other beer. My mistake was not trading him or just asking for one more bottle. I didn't get to review it and I will always regret that, I'll probably never get to drink that beer again :slight_frown: He bought the 4 pack from his buddy who runs a liquor store, and I have no idea how he got it.

Before I knew anything about beer I bought a sixer of Sierra Nevada Bigfoot because I thought the label was amusing. Assuming all beer was relatively around the same abv, I drank three in what I estimate to be about an hour. I drank them straight from the bottle too. When I stood up off the couch at my buddy's house I was like, "Whoa, what the hell is in this beer?"

I was in South Bend, IN for work a few years ago and found a bar near our hotel that had craft beer. I ditched my boss after dinner and walked to the bar. Turns out they had Three Floyds on tap so I ended up trying like 3 or 4 of them and got wasted. I was pretty hungover for our flight the next morning and had to pretend I was car sick so my boss wouldn't notice I was hungover. And worst of all I couldn't remember what any of the beers tasted like. (luckily I have since traded for Zombie Dust and Gumball Head and they are great)

Not buying more Thomas Hardy's when it was available at a good price about 15 years ago. Only have 3 bottles left.

Not finding craft beers sooner. I never cared for the Macros, and I was living in a small town with little to offer in the way of craft beers at the time, so I was not eager to dip my toe in these waters. Rectified this when I moved out to Boston and had a much better craft beer selection.

My biggest mistake was going to a small tiny taproom to pick up a beer I tried the week prior at a friends wedding and loving it. Noticed they were charging $15 per bottle!

Ouch for a saison? I'll only take 2.

Well the brewpub was SARA and the overpriced saison was west Ashley batch 1

In retrospect, buying a Biggs Stache at the Three Floyds 15th Anniversary party instead of a BA Owde Engwish, their best ever barrel aged beer IMO, was a bad mistake. At the time Biggs Stache sounded awesome on paper. It was nail polish remover.

Buying beer that everyone else said was good instead of buying what I know was good.

A friend went to Dayton and I visited many times so I am familiar with Hudy. Kinda wish I wasn't but in those days you drank what you could afford.

NewCastle Brown Ale, in a bomber. Tasted like dish soap and smelled like a certain variety of excrement which we won't get into on this respectable forum.
