I went to college near the Yuengling brewery so drank my fair share of it. Still do to some extent. I also remember Schafer (sp?). Is it still around?

My brother-in-law lives on Budweiser and I mean that literally. He won't drink anything else beer wise. Now if we start talking Captain Morgan's.......

Where's my purple pill? I want more options!

But seriously, I choose purple pill, in between red and blue. I never drink non-craft (BMC) stuff, but I also don't search out the craziest most intense craft beers on any regular basis at all. The vast majority of the beer I drink and enjoy most is somewhat traditional, and just brewed well. Stuff like classic American IPAs (Torpedo, etc.) and long-established German and Belgian beers brewed true to their style and perfected over their long histories.

A tie between Labatt and Pabst. Those two beers have served as incredible accomplices for my friends and I over the years.

PBR , steg porter, saranac, yuenglibg lager and porter.... All beers I drank before I got too deep. Still enjoy them as well. Unfortunately I put saranac against much better beer and get disappointed every time. Would be nice to go back more often.

    Enjoy

Coors Light. I'm not into drinking an 8% DIPA at a football tailgate.

Yuengling, Becks and PBR. All equally. When i need a break i love these. If craft never existed, these beers right here would perfectly do. Im still on a break really. Drinking far less and getting out of release chasing and hype. Been on this site far less. I check it maybe once or twice. That simpler time of beer is missed sometimes glad to see im not the only one. Just picked up a case of Hamms today. Its lke PBRs more fit cousin. Good simple beer. Cheers.

On the opposite end, beers like SNPA, Porkslap and 60 minute pushed me through that craft door.

Actual fact. I did a blindfold test of bud, mgd and coors banquet and bud won.

It was a Stroh's, at a buddies house in Columbus Ohio after hitchhiking overnight down from Great Lakes to pick up his car on a three day pass in 1971.

    Best beer I ever had..
