    Too many, can’t keep up.

Did a bit too well this fantasy baseball and football year. Made the situation significantly worse

I seem to yoyo with the bottle count. I see my post just over 2 years ago in October indicated I was at 10... I bet what happened was the same thing that happens every year: Black Friday Bourbon County release rolls around (among other annual releases) and my bottle count grows again. Then I dwindle it down throughout following year until same thing happens again. This past November I was down to 5 bottles... but currently sitting at 36. I guess the general trend is still downward, so I’m confident that by this November I will be at 0 (which is my New Year’s beer resolution).

Steadily drank down a 2-3 year old darker-beer backlog. Only 8 bottles left... including a very old 2013 barleywine from Half Acre (Quakerbridge) that is going to be an interesting....experiment when I open it. Going to make Colt45 look like a bitter pill.
As a wine geek, however, I'm still curious as to how beers 'age' even when they suck (comparatively). You at least get an appreciation for how the fluid responds biochemically. Cheers!

Currently I've only my St Bernardus Abt 12 magnum. Moneys a bit tight at the moment, will probably only visit the bottle shops once a month for a while.

I was up over 60 about two years ago. Far too big for me. I was only 2-3 years into craft beer and was buying as much of every release I could. I was down to about 15 two months ago. But as many great limited release beers are released in November and December I am back to 35. A little higher than I would like, but very manageable. It’s going to be a great winter and spring.

    Just took inventory,
67 in total. Other than 15 Bigfoot barleywines from 2014/2015 it’s almost entirely big stouts. Have not recorded historical levels but I’m down about 30 or so over last two years. Pop some here and there and throttle back on purchases of seasonal releases.

29 in cellar, 16 in fridge... 45 total. Too lazy to dig up old post of mine but it should be right about the same.

My count is down some since I last posted, despite having bought a commercial cooler. A couple of reasons are that I have had a few good beers go bad and I hate for that to happen. The other reason is that I simply have tried many beers that I wanted and my want list has gotten smaller. Duck season has helped me thin down the stash! But, I'm expecting a box of Russian River and another box of Alchemist. So much for thinning down!

I believe I am in (50-100) unless you count Mead, the stuff that I've made. I have over 100 bottles of that from 25+ batches.

    ~ 50

Which, honestly, is more than I would really like to have on-hand. My issue is that most of them are higher ABV and I want to make a point to sit and really enjoy them, which means I need free time at home to do so and that is an increasingly rare occurrence these days.

Was down to about 60 in the summer & now I'm back up to 153. I promised myself on NYE that I would try and buy less. Doesn't help I got $150s in gift cards to my two favorite bottle shops for Christmas.

I'd say I'm probably around 50-60 right now, including bottles and cans. My stores usually peak during stout season and then deplete throughout the year to about 15-20.

Still pretty consistently 12 or less. Currently 5 BCBS of various vintages, 2 DFH American Beauty, Mad Elf Grand Cru, 3 Proc Baltalicas.

It saddens me to read some of these posts, knowing many of you are not drinking these aged beers when they are at their best.

I always have a bunch of Big Foot, if I had to guess I would say 145. Definetly collecting less, because I have learned they rarely get better and most times are actually worse. I may get back to you all later tonight after I crack something in the 6 to 7 year range. Probably 40 big bottles mainly Stone, Firestone, Clown Shoes, and Goose BCBS.

I have maybe 20 right now. The selection of beer where Iive isn't fabulous (a lot of local brews though) and I'm not interested in a collection... except of flavours and experiences. I usually have between 0 and 20 beers now. Liquor is a different story though; I have about as many bottles as my max beer stash right now.
