    Why-
I typically end up buying beer I think will age well or are just multiples of beer I would like to have now and later on. Most of what I cellar/age is either a sour or a higher abv barrel aged beer.
    Bottle Count-
I had to update my vote, when I originally voted I hadn't been cellaring beer for all that long and I was at the lower end of the 100-250 range. Since then, my compulsive collecting/hoarding/cellaring has moved that number up to the upper part of the 250-500 range. I am currently working on getting an exact number by taking my beerventory, last time I updated was over a year ago and I was at just under 300 beers then.
    Optimal Count-
I'm not certain what the optimal count would be for me, but in terms of current space available to store beer I'd say under 250 would be ideal. No spacial limitations and I'd be perfectly fine with the amount I currently have.
    Direction Headed-
I'd say I'm slowly headed in the right direction. We've been drinking more of the sours and I haven't been buying much lately other than non-cellar beers.

Right now I have 0, why? I drank them and dont have the extra money to stock up again right now. But usually I try to keep ~15 nice bottles around for special occasions/shares
