What's your dream mixed 12 pack?

I've seen many mix packs, seasonal and otherwise, that just don't do it for me. If I ever buy a mixed 12, it will undoubtedly have at least one sub optimal beer style for my tastes. This has always kept me from pulling the trigger.

If you could choose 4 styles of beer to include in a mix 12 pack, what would they be? I'd like to see a mix pack with a brown ale, coffee porter/stout, an esb and a barleywine. (I know, barleywine are a bit strong for conventional 12 packs. I can dream.) What is the magic combo for you?

I'd love to see a 12 pack with a set of dubbels, tripels, quadruples and strong ale. Maybe a bit out there, but it could potentially make buying Belgian beers a little more affordable. Or it would be $80+.

Different at different tunes of the year.

With the rain and cold this last few days

    SN Coffee Stout x3
    SN Bigfoot x3
    SN Stout x2
SN Maple Scotch Ale from a winter pack a few years ago. X2
    SN Tumbler x2

I would have added a SN IPA but not a fan of the few I’ve had.

Making these multi brewer packs is pretty much not going to happen so I stuck with one brewery.

So we're dreaming, are we? :sunglasses: Here we go then:

    'Wild' Patersbier
    N. German type Pils
    West Coast Stout

Actually, I can't believe it doesn't exist already- there must be dozens, nay, dozens of dozens of people it would appeal to :grin:

I think I'd go for a mixed Belgian 12 pack. Duvel, St. Bernadus 12, Chimay Cinq Cents (White), Westmalle Tripel. Oh crap, I'm out of room in my pack. Can I pick 12 singles?

3 Saisons (dry hopped, sour, and fruited)
    3 IPA (all the C-hops)

I'm way too picky to buy a sampler/variety/mix pack because I know that most of the beers would be something I don't want, having bought several and never liking one. Even if i could pick styles, I would not want to leave it to someone else to choose what specific beers I'll drink. That said, I would gladly review any of these 24-bottle variety packs if the brewer wants to ship me one;

    3x St Boisterous Dopplebock
    3x Braumeister Pilsners
And if they could find a way to bottle or can 3x Uncle Teddy's Bitter.

This would be something I would do back flips for.

Weyerbacher used to have a Big Beers 12-Pack with a barleywine, a DIPA, a tripel, and a Belgian-ified imperial stout. I think they still sell it minus the DIPA which they discontinued.

I can build my own packs of various styles. I would want to sample the effects of hop or barrel variety on the same base beer brewed at the same time back-to-back. So, either of these...

3 x base DIPA with 3 hop varieties
3 x each of single hopped version with each hop from the base DIPA (same malt bill)

    3 x base stout
3 x bourbon barrel stout (same base beer for all)
    3 x rum barrel stout
    3 x brandy barrel stout

I've already seen some dreamlike variety packs from existing breweries. Victory's 15 pack with Golden Monkey, Sour Monkey, Prima Pils, Hop Devil and Home Grown is just beautiful. Lord Hobo's variety pack is amazing, and Dogfish Head's summer pack with 60 Minute, SeaQuench, Namaste, and Lupu-Luau is also amazing.
