What's your favorite BA thread topic?

The obviously drunk ones that get deleted are my favorite

 

Oh man, too many to count.

-Anytime a "I hate lagers" thread pops up, as well as its related cousin the "America is the best at beer, right?" thread
-As @draheim noted, the East vs. West, Tupac vs. Biggie, or whatever other region feels slighted threads
-"The [insert seasonal beer here] totally sucks this year" threads
-And, of course, I'm a sucker for a good flop house thread

 

Oh yeah! Forgot about that guy, all his threads are like weird, savant, genius magic with beer on top.

...yep, I've been drinking...

 

I love when the folks from Iowa start yelling at each other on the Toppling Goliath appreciation thread in the Midwest forum. It can be really popcorn-worthy.

 

Those are my favorites when my blood pressure is too low.

 

For some reason I love polls but also WBAYDN for sure... This is definitely a funny thread as well haha

 

The trademark infringement threads where the BA lawyers jump in and grace us with their knowledge, makes me wish there was an ArsenicAdvocate.

 

He's not nearly as literate as @northyorksammy. Sammy's reviews have kept me howling!

 

By far my favorites are any and all threads related to German beers/styles.

I have learned the most from these threads and aside from traveling, they nearly single-handedly changed my perspective as a Beeradvocate.

I've found the most knowledgeable members on this website tend to post in these threads. Not to mention numerous professional brewers will come out of the wood work and share their invaluable knowledge and experiences.

As has been mentioned, threads about "what's your favorite __________?"

Threads that ask us to rank things, provide data (how much do you..., how many have you..., etc.), or give an opinion

I like the Breweriana section, but I'm not particularly hardcore in that respect - I like I also like to check out the Beer & Food section for pics and ideas relating to food

 

I bet the sites member drop offs would be atrocious.

 

These last weeks I've enjoyed the Toppling Goliath Appreciation thread. Which has turned into the Toppling Goliath Depreciation thread. It's some good reading.

 

You get a like just for the Logo.

 

NBS. No doubt. Like family. And its for me a perfect excuse to really sit down, analyze a beer and put some thought into the history and have a story. Then the music and the highlights of some daily events is great. Shit gets tight if you know what I mean. Some cool stuff.

 

Tired of the "what are you drinking now" (anyone actually read these?),what beer got you started in craft beer?

 

My favorites are when two guys go at it slightly off topic, then kiss and make up at the end
Seriously I've learned a lot by paying attention to the threads.

 

That limited release beer is way better last year than this year
