I stand corrected. I just looked at this site to verify. However, I still stand by the fact that the practice is uncommon, particularly in my area, KCMO, and in any of the packaged goses I have had. My brewery, Crane Brewing, makes fruit goses, but we ferment the fruit out so it adds no sugar or sweetness to the final product. I feel like this is a pretty standard practice, as this style is best when it is light, dry and refreshing, not syrupy.

Leipziger and Ritterguts is my favorite, but i do like AV and jammer 2.0 too. and of course my own gose too:grinning:

i did like the two roads, evil twin collaboration one too.

Westbrook is good, and im probably in the minority but i think there are better out there.

I don't have a ton of experience with this style, but for the money I have found that Anderson Valley examples are tough to beat. Their Briney Melon (gose with watermelon) was superb. The saltiness and sourness inherent to the style go perfectly with the watermelon.

I moved from KC a year ago, I know there are a lot of new breweries up there now. I should try to get back up there before I move out to California.

Since this thread has come back, I want to give a shout out to the Brewers at Thirsty Monk for putting out a nice fruit infused Gose as well. Almost on par, but different, than Westbrook's which is still my favorite straight Gose.

Although I enjoyed Lost Nation. I just had the two roads/evil twin collab Geyser Gose.
That beer is accessible and I really enjoyed it.
