So many great choices even in a flooded market. I could go on and on with my regular buying habits and those that are always solid choices even though I don't buy them as they are as common as a penny on the street, Two Hearted, Head Hunter & All Day IPA come to mind.
Maine Lunch would be my choice on the regular if price and fresh availability weren't an issue.
Brew Kettle's El Lupulo Libre DIPA a stellar Imp that's best fresh on tap.
Big fan of and have been purchasing all of the releases from the Great Lakes Imp IPA series throughout the year.
Sierra Nevada's Summer Break IPA has been this year's summer session find.
Sierra Nevada's Celebration Ale is the only winter beer that I buy every time.

I don’t think I’ve ever had pacific magic but it sounds magical

I’m gonna go with the one I always go back to: Deschutes Fresh Squeezed.

For the not always available…heady topper

...I believe NCBC's 'Pacific Magic' is a relatively new release for them...

As an ex bike messenger i like that 10/9 exists

Also anything that Beachwood makes is good. Citraholic and Amalgamator are always out here fresh

We still get some north coasts beers here in NJ. I’m gonna ask the store manager next time I go in.

...I've always loved Scrimshaw and Red Seal (my first exposure to them back in the early 90s), and love Old Rasputin, Old Stock Ale, and Brother Thelonius...in fact, just about everything they make...

Some of mine are Snake River Pako's, Melvin IPA and 2x4, Two Hearted, Roadhouse Wilson. The one that I miss the most is BridgePort IPA.

With apologies to Mr. Fat Head, Head Hunter should have been included above.

And @Bitterbill reminded me in his post above of Melvin's 2x4 which is a 'memorable' IPA, although I needed him to zing my memory of it.

Ooooh this is a tough one - simply because there are waaay too many.
Apart from the classics (Ruination, Torpedo, Wipeout or Stone IPA) I got to mention three by the late Stone (RIP) that I still dwell upon for having been my favorite IPAs, hands down:
    The Citracado IPA
    The Still Unapologetic
And the 14th Anniversary Emperial IPA
… it’s a pity that the Arrogant Bastard is not an IPA:wink:

Why not celebrate with some new-to-me once-and-maybe-still celebrated hazy IPAs, since my local has a couple Trillium kegs pouring (thanks for the heads up, @Beers-es).

Starting with the lowest keg, Melcher Street

SNBC Celebration. I have rated many other IPA's higher but every year i come back to this for nostalgic reasons and the fact it is a solid WCIPA at a reasonable price!
    Cheers!

I have noticed from the thread how regional favorite IPAs are. (outside of Sierra Nevada). Goes to show fresher the better.
I have seen and bought some the wildly popular IPAs from the rest of the country when they show up in Oregon, but mostly not impressed. Then i look at the base of the can and they are months old.

Chose this -- @zid -- still a very nice IPA that isn't straight hop-juice, but still quenches the hop craving I get now and again.

SN Celebration Ale for me. Yes, it is a seasonal but this IPA never fails to deliver for me. And at 6.8%, I think it's a perfect (well for me anyway ) ABV for an IPA to boot.

I apparently decided to be that guy that read his own intent into the post :pensive:

So not, what am I celebrating with, but my actual favorite IPA… Heady fairly fresh, hands down, with Double Sip on its heels.
