For me it's Ballast Point Even Keel. Oasis Meta Modern is pretty damn good too.

Zombie Dust is sessionable! In my eyes anyways. A favorite of mine river floating. As far as pure sessionable IPA by definition, All Day takes the cake for me. Would like to try this carton boat that everyone is going on about.

Any of the Green Flash Hop Odyssey: ______ Session IPAs or Jibe Session. Every other SIPA I've tried (i.e. All Day, Pop Up, Single Wide, DayTime, Go-To, etc.) tastes like water with a with all the bitterness and none of the citrus/floral notes from the hops.

I understand OP's plight. He's from California. Our winters in SoCal are mild, most days highs are in the 60s and 70s. Then we transition straight to summer, with most days being in the 80s or higher.

Also, because I want to contribute to the thread: I usually skip over session IPAs in the summer heat; in those moments I usually wind up reaching for hoppy pilsners like FW Pivo Pils (cans! glorious cans!) or Victory Prima Pils.

I like to break out the Session IPAs during a round of golf, nothing like a sunny day and (decent) IPAs without getting hammered. It lets you then go to the bar after and drink more.

Founders All Day and Stone Go To are pretty good, Lagunitas Daytime didn't do anything for me.

What I usually buy though is Two Roads Lil' Heaven, because they are a local brewery you can get cans that are extremely fresh.

Carton Boat is an incredibly tasty session beer. Not an IPA but very good crisp hoppy flavor.

IMHO I thought Smuttynose Bouncy House was better than any of the other session IPAs I've tired to date. They are; All Day, DayTime, Go To, Unita Trader, Notch Left of the Dial, 21st Amendment Down to Earth, Pop Up, Easy Jack, and Blue Point Mosaic session (2nd favorite). At $13.99 a 12-pack I think it's pretty hard to beat.

Er, I hate to sound rude, but there's already been several session IPA threads in just past month or two.

Pinner is really good. I liked Brew Kettle's All for One as well.
