Never happened, probably never will, at least not in the full review format. I just don't ever see all 5 factors of a review getting 5's for a single beer.

Had a four in one day recently: HF Edward, HF Double Galaxy, Fuzzy Baby Ducks, & Maple Bacon Coffee Porter. Courtesy of @Schlais! They were all mind-blowing!!

Founders Sweet Repute. Hands down the best Wheatwine I have ever had, and probably top 3 barrel aged beers I've had. I enjoyed the smoothness and sweetness of this beer, and it did not drink like a 12.8% beer at all.

Why's everyone so damn stingy? I don't review all that often, but I often think to myself "this is a perfect representation of the style." So, to me, Founders Porter is a 5; Weihenstephaner Hef is a 5; TAPS Cream Ale is a 5; etc. I readily admit that Beatification is better tasting to me than, say, English 101 Pub Ale from Noble. The difference is, one is a perfect (in my mind) representation of a style, while the other is simply a very good Geuze, of which I've had better (DDG, I'm looking at you). Isn't that what the ratings are all about? Obviously if you review BB Noble Pils with the mindset that everything should be a hop bomb, then you're going to be upset. Moreover, you will miss out on the chance to appreciate the wealth of styles available to us!

No 5 yet. Closest I've come is 2012 The Abyss on tap. Drank it just a few days ago and ended up giving it a 4.95

I loved the Creme Brulee. My closest to 5 were Black Tuesday (4.59), Proprietor's (4.56), The Abyss (4.55) and Fruet (4.46)

I think I have given 3 or 4 all time. 2 of them are recent actually. Jester King Atrial Rubicite and Goose Island Proprietors. I don't see how these beers could get better then what they are.

Phenomenal beer. I was fortunate enough to try some recently, and it's a serious contender for a 5 from me if I ever get to have it again and review it.

Had Prairie Artisan Prairie Bomb! this afternoon on tap, and this has become my benchmark to compare every other beer to. Founders Breakfast Stout and Rochefort 10 were 5s for me (and ranked considerably higher than Prairie Bomb!), but Bomb! has become the new standard and deserves to replace either of the former in the Top 20.

I've given only 1 or 2 I think, but lately, my top beers that get close (without reviews) are:

    Firestone XVII
    Darkness
    Abrasive
    BB Biscotti

At a recent tasting and party the Shelton Bros. Had at the Louisville Beer Store last Friday after litigation in KY I tasted more 5/5 beers at one time than ever before: Fou Foune on tap was the highlight afterwards 1998, 1999, 2001 Drie fontenien, 2005 cantillon geuze and 2004 iris. Dan Shelton was a pleasure to meet a gave great insight into distribution and why they've had to jump through so many monetary hoops to get good products into the states especially with scrutiny from AB for taking some of their market share and how big this lawsuit is against them it may put them out of business which would be bad for fellow BA's that enjoy the occasional Cantillon , Tyler Trotter the owner gave all profit of the beer that was served to the Shelton Bros. Which solidifies my favorite bottle shop is a place worth visiting if your in the area, sorry for the rant
