It travels just fine. It's just that it's not unbelievably huuuuuuuge. I'm pleasantly surprised to see it rated so highly, actually.

Its not exactly underrated (91 on BA), but with not even 30 reviews I think Lagunitas' SF Fusion flies way under the radar. I've been lucky enough to have it both times I've been to Lagunitas (DONG) and it is by far their best beer.

I'm actually sippin' on one right now. Red Brick's 20th Anniversary BBA Imperial Stout is fantastic, and also dirt cheap (I think I dropped 12 bucks for this four-pack). I hope there's still more at Total Wine this weekend, because this is awesome. It's just from a brewery that has absolutely no hype so it'll fly under everyone's radar.

It's hard for me to say, but it surprises me that the ratings for Local Option's beers aren't so great. I like pretty much everything they make. Schmetterling Gose is awesome.

Midas Touch. It got me into beer, along with Ruination. I understand that it is a love or hate beer. I need to get some more since I was drinking this before I started reviewing beer.

Magic Hat's Odd Notion Hibiscus Red Winter 2010 Odd Notion.

This was a beautiful and subtle beer that had a lot in common with a good hibiscus tea. Beautiful and subtle aren't things that do well with the BA audience that wants the biggest and meanest barrel aged stouts.

Rampant by New Belgium, maybe my palate isn't as refined as most on here, but it's better than an 86, IMO. Locally, it's Starr Hill's Double Platinum.

LOL, last review on Rampant was a 1.39. Wow.

Anyone that rates a beer that is clearly not horrible a 1.39 needs to be slapped.

In addition to Karbach Hopadillo, I'd also like to mention Real Ale Full Moon Pale Rye Ale. Better than a score of 84, IMHO. I found it to be quite tasty.
