I went last year. I enjoyed the setting outside in the park. Not too crowded. Nearby parking garage. But they shut it down about 45 minutes early when a line of thunderstorms came through. I sought refuge in the Two Brothers tent until the cops came through and walked all the stragglers to the exits. This year, the Wheaton Park District has basically hijacked the event run by Brew Fest Partners. Just stole the whole idea and are running it in house. My friends and I are boycotting this event out of principle. It looks like the brewery lineup has taken a hit as a result as well.
Thanks for the insight man! I did notice the brewery list was very sub par, It appears the park district is aiming this at the general public and not so much the hardcore beer enthusiasts. If it werent for my friends BDAY I would def pass on this event.
