I was kind of shocked to revisit this beer again after 7 years to find that not only is the ABV higher and the can art having less luster but the logo itself has changed!

Does this happen more often than I think? I could see messing with the cover art maybe some new colors but to mess with the logo practically the mascot of the company really blew my mind.

I do prefer the old one does anyone else agree? Love the gold, in your face logo, and black bold text.

Most brands update their logos so it wouldn't be surprising if craft brewers did as well.

For a minute I thought they scrapped the Happy\Angry man logo and I'm thinking "I was just at the brewery this summer, bought a t-shirt, and *now* they change the logo? Minor changes are no biggie, and I'm sure breweries update like all brands over time.

I would be willing to wager they dropped the gold and two color text as a cost saving measure. They’ve grown a lot over the past 7 years and more colors equals more expensive printing costs, especially at a significantly larger scale. Most people wouldn’t notice anyway, so I don’t understand why this is an issue.

My focus is on the flavor, if the can is blank but the beer rocks that's the important thing.
Actually the 2020 cans look nice in my view.
    Cheers
