CHRISTMAS ALE is for CHRISTMAS and that season starts in DECEMBER give me my pumpkin beer back Seasonal creep is stupid especially when it's still pumpkin pie season and there's no more pumpkin beers.
Let's be honest, there really isn't much difference between the pumpkin spice beers and the Christmas spice beers. More ginger and less cinnamon and maybe a bit of orange zest? Not worth splitting hairs over.
I generally agree with this, though freshness is still king for me...most are not worth aging, and I just want to drink beers I enjoy when they are at their best, ie fresh. Its the same for me and Oktoberfest, when they appear in July ha. If its good, and fresh, I drink it. Edit: And if I waited for the appropriate "season' to drink some of this in Texas...well it got close to 90 degrees today, so yeah...seasons don't mean much for me ha.
As soon as they come out. You know that it's fresh and it will only be around for a couple of month. Why not?
Oh, nice. I wonder what the other one is? I bet it's a duplicate listing, except the ABV is slightly different.
I just can’t consume any spices, beers or not. Worse of it is I love them - including in food. It just never goes through the plumbing nicely. I’ll stop here.
Anytime after Halloween for me, usually! My area is ripe with holiday beers - with the likes of Great Lakes Christmas Ale, Thirsty Dog 12 Dogs of XMas, Fatheads Holly Jolly and Pimp my Sleigh, to name a few NE Ohio brews.....we get a shit ton of holiday beers in this area, starting in late October typically...I love them!
I bought a case of Great Lakes Oktoberfest discounted down$19.96 + tax, so this year Santa Claus will be wearing lederhosen coming down my chimney. Cheers!
If I could get it, Celebration, right now. It'll show eventually... Nothing has tempted me yet, If I could've gotten Jubel Ale as a single maybe already. As a rule I've gone off the spiced ones.
