I'm seeing it everywhere in the Willowbrook/Champions area. And super fresh too. Per an assistant brewer, no set timeframe on the new format....possibly before Xmas.

Their Instagram is teasing something with a very fuzzy picture. Looks like some news should be coming very soon!

So awesome, but they really should've gone 16oz 4 packs of cans. Easy hiking Yellow Rose would be sweet. Not to mention that label art on cans... Oh well, a guy can dream.

Any guesses on the price of these four-packs? $19.99?

I hope they keep it at least around $10-$12. I just can't see it selling at Sculpin prices... Though I could be wrong since we buy it at $10 a bottle. I guess we will see soon

Prices, yet another reason it should be in cans... ok I'll stop now.

$19.99 for a four pack of 500 mL bottles is less per ounce than it is currently at $9-10 for a 750 mL bottle. While I wish it was in cans, I like the smaller format so I don't have to drink an entire bomber in one sitting.

Happy about the smaller format, but bummed (like others above) that they stuck with glass. Cans are better for so many reasons. Can anyone in the industry shed light on why they may have gone with glass vs. cans?

Everything about this format screams "expensive" to me. If it comes in under $16, I will buy as much as I can. Not holding my breath, though.

Yeah but if you live in Houston, you never have to buy a bottle. Growler fills are $13 for 64oz and it is usually way better than the bottles. I am glad they are doing the bottles, but won't be buying them if it is more than $11 or 12 a four pack. Between HEB and Whole Foods out in Northwest houston it is always on tap and around that 12.99 or 13.99 price point

Is Pliney sold in singles or packs? And they're what, $8 each retail?

@zizouandyuki They chose bottles because they can charge more than they could with cans. They'll probably claim aesthetic reasons but my cynical side says it's just about the cash.

@blastoderm55 I used to live in LA and Pliny was always sold as singles, I was told by several different store owners the actual suggested retail price from Russian River should be $5.99 per 500ml bottle, but you would almost never see it sold that low.

Are the Yellow Rose 4 packs 500ml? They look like 12oz bottles in the pic, hard to tell though.

Singles, same bottle size 500ml/16.9 oz, I paid about 6 or 7 a bottle when I found it out in Colorado, paid like $13 for one (make that 2, bought one for my daughter who mules beer from Tulsa to me) at a restaurant in Napa.
