When does Parabola hit Austin?

Ya, Rosedale sold out quick today, too. Both Rosedale and SoLa tweet their releases it seems. Seems the trick is in knowing when these places get shipments.

 

Rosedale had it long before they tweeted it.

I picked up a bottle there at 11:15 AM. They tweeted an hour or two ago. They had it available for 5 hours before they sold out and only had 6 bottles.

The issue is that you are assuming they tweet it when they get it. You can pretty much figure out that if Sunrise got it, the distributor would then stay in the area and go down to Rosedale. Which is what I based it off of. I knew as soon as Sunrise tweeted it, tehy would be out. Rosedale? Worth a try.

 

Didn't realize that. I tried Quickie Pickie and MLK Food Store after E1G got theirs but came out empty. Here's to better luck tomorrow!

 

That tweet was in reference to Stickee Monkee. Hopefully that means they will be moving back to 12 bottles per case with their future beers released in commemorative boxes.

I just traded for it after I missed out on Sucaba at every place here in SA. much easier to trade instead of driving all over town trying to get a bottle.

 

If anyone is aware of a purchasable bottle in Austin today, and is willing to BM me, I will be super grateful and will share a beer. Seems like most places (Specs, CM) have told me they might get it this Friday, but I will not be around this weekend.

 

If anyone is still looking for Parabola and perhaps Stickee Monkee (hits AZ next week) next week, hit me up- would love to work out some trades for the upcoming JK releases.

 

Halls in DFW got some in. I got there at 10:20 (opened at 10) and they were already sold out.

 

Any word on this hitting Houston tomorrow for sure? Saw the tweet from Firestone Walker TX saying tomorrow, but it's been deafening silence beyond that.

I'm sure the hobo train is already lining up for it downtown though.

 

the beer guy at rosedale never told me he had parabola, so, unless im just a twat, i dont think he got it yet.

im gonna have to go rough him up tomorrow if thats the case

 

I can assure that more than just one person on here got it before they tweeted it.

And another one of my friends not on here got it as well from there around noon.

 

maybe he didnt mention it because they were already out then, since he mentioned prarie wine barrel noir but not parabola which he knows for a fact that id enjoy it more.

but then again i also went in saying how low on cash i was today.

 

This was yesterday that he got it, not today.

 

Just a bit irritating since i probably spend about 500 a month there.

yeah i went to it when you said it had been tweeted.

i dont pay attention to twitter as much as i should, but when a loyal customer comes in, id expect to be told. Hell i barely go to rr specs but scott keeps me in the know anyways.
