Do you keep a "staple" chilled and ready to drink any any point in time? Or do you just haul in stuff from your stash and chill to proper temps and go on a beer tasting frenzy of different kinds?

I do both. I've got my current seasonal favorites that I'lll rotate around, between growler fills and bottles. I'll hoard a bunch of the available stuff, drink it up over time if possible, or cellar it.

What do you do, and whats your go to, "good everyday brew"?

Right now-- DFH Aprihop, DFH 75min IPA, Red Brick Porter, and Southern Tier 2XIPA are plentiful to drink. Will toss in a few stouts to mix it up for after dinner.

I just sort of buy beer when I got the money. I usually don't keep stuff around for when I want a beer, besides homebrew.
I bought a DFH 75 min bomber and Terrapin Hopzilla yesterday to drink tonight, but usually I don't buy things ahead of time like that. I just did with these because they could sell out fast, only like 5 or so 4 packs of hopzilla came in to the local store, so if I wanted it didn't have much choice.

I like to keep a nice mix of things in the fridge, ready to go. Right now I think it's Hoptimum, Moo-Hoo, Furious and Grain Belt. I usually don't dip into the cellar when I could just as easily head over to the bottle shop. I usually only drink from there when the occasion calls for it. (Thursday night's WWS was a glitch in an otherwise fine-tuned system:slight_smile:)

I keep most in the basement, covered from sunlight, and as many as I can fit in the fridge before my wife starts complaining.

Let me know if you like it. I'm local to Terrapin, and we get gobs of it around these parts. It's a good beer!! I'm ready to try their side project stuff next week.. Plux Capacitor!

Ditto. Infact, I was told to buy another 'fridge for the garage to keep my beer in from here on out.... She doesn't know what a mistake that was!

I try to keep a variety so I can satisfy whatever craving I have at the current moment…but you can usually find something from Sierra Nevada and almost always North Coast Old Rasputin in my fridge ready to drink. Cheers ~

I always have some sort of IPA in the fridge, but that's as close as I get to a "staple". There are beers that see the inside of my fridge more often than others, but there's really nothing I always have in there.

Yea. I pretty much rotate buying 6/12packs of IPAs and seasonals/non IPA's. So I usually have atleast 3/4 different beers in the fridge but thats about it. Not really into cellaring or buying expensive/rare brews. Closest thing to a staple in my fridge would be Smuttynose Finest Kind.

When I get in the mood for a beer, I go get one. If theres something that blows my mind while Im out, Ill grabd it and keep it around. The only thing that really sticks around is my homebrew so I can see what happens to it over time.

Just had hopzilla. Nothing incredible, but if you love hop bitternessn then this is good. I loved the hops but the citrusy malt was decent. But if you havent worth a try. The 75 min ipa was incredible, one of the best beers i've ever had.

There's at least 2 new brews I've never had in my fridge every friday, maybe a few singles of other beers I've not tried, and maybe some leftovers from the previous weekend. Always always trying new stuff though. I need to get out of that ticking mode and enjoy the beers I always love, but oh well.

Always some go to brews in my fridge- usually some Allagash White or Bell's when I'm back home, but recently it's been SN cans. When the weekend rolls around and I want something special I'll break one or two out of the cellar the morning of or the day before so they can chill a bit- but recently my fridge has been packed with my go-to beers along with Lunch, MO, FFF Lord Admiral Nelson, 75 Minute, Old Rasp, and a 6 of Stowaway. Also explains why there's no room for food in my fridge- BEER BREAKFAST!!!

I like to keep several different options on hand. Right now I have 10 different commercial options in the fridge plus a couple times of home brew. Variety is the spice of life.

Right now in my fridge are sierra nevada pale ale, torpedo, and Goose island india pale ale and odell wheat which both of the last two beers are for the wife. I normally keep some big sky ipa in there as well. Right now am drinking a boulevard dark truth stout and it is treating me well.

    It depends on the mood!!

We always have go-to drinkers and sippers chilled in the fridge for that "I want a tasty beer occasion", which is most often what we go for. Other nights, when we feel like rating, we'll do a little more prep and arrange and cool that night's line up in advance.

I generally never have a six pack on stash. Always on the fly from random purchases, gift, tastings or trade.

    Cheers!
