Picked some up today @ Yankee Spirits. And let me tell you IMO its the best ever. Great balance without losing any hop presence. Actually seems like hops are amped up.
Congratulations Sixpoint......and of course thank you.

Brian the beer geek has an idea. Sensi is good but why not use the resin formula and drop the abv.

we could do that...but keep in mind even the Resin and the Hi-Res are two distinct formulations.

I love Hi-Res and definitely looking forward to this years batch. Would love to see you guys amp it up again and come out with Tri-Res!

We could do that, and it would be around 13% ABV, which is around the maximum amount the yeast can handle before we'd have to switch to a high-gravity ale yeast strain or champagne yeast. The bigger question would be whether or not the flavors would come together nicely at that range...with that ABV level and amount of hops, it could taste like one hot mess if not done properly...

Yes I was. But I'm sure hi res will be just as pleasing.
I have to also say I've always liked the resin a little more.....that being said I haven't had anything I haven't enjoyed by Sixpoint. Right up there with my favorite breweries and love the cans. Posted last night on " what beer are you drinking now " the Resin with a BB July 15. Probably got so excited after drinking ddidnt thoroughly read the post.
    Cheers!

Let us know if you think Hi-Res is even more preferred over the Resin, and thanks for the support up in the Ocean State. You should be receiving your Hi-Res later this week.

And there is lots of cool stuff in the pipeline, including this. Which, incidentally, will also hit Rhode Island this week!

    cheers
