It's just over the half-year mark(BD:April 3rd), and I'm craving it more and more by the night. When should I crack this bad boy?!

I have an extra to bury for a WHILE, so years ahead suggestions aren't needed

I thought it was great fresh, maybe I'll revisit it over the Christmas holiday. I also have a case at the bottom of my "cellar" (chest freezer) that I'm going to forget about for years to come.

Love the barrel character I get from this beer, but do you really think there's enough going on with the base beer to support years of age? Time will tell, for sure, and will be interesting to find out—but I don't get a lot of complexity out of this one.

Agreed. I say drink it soon.

I'm going out on a limb and trusting Bell's designation that it is "designed for indefinite aging" (same as Expo and 3rd coast). It's the only planet I'm sitting on long term.

I had the good fortune to pick up a case at the General Store. They have been fantastic drinking them fresh and no one should hesitate to do so. But I'm glad I got enough to stretch them out over several years.

After having it fresh, I am going to wait till Saturn is 9-12 months old. That is when it will hit its prime for my tastes anyways(and that is just a guess until that time comes...).

I forgot to mention that I did have it fresh. I loved it! I'm still sitting on my last two. I'm thinking of cracking the second on Christmas, and maybe sitting on the second until next Christmas? Who knows.. We'll see.

Your guys' input is much appreciated!
