    Or week?

Meaning, when was the last time you strung along a world class couple days of beers together, whereas as a lover of craft, you looked back and said " Well Done!"?

Friday I shared with my dad (my favorite drinking buddy) a same day growler filled Pliny. Saturday to myself. Saturday, Treehouse Julious and Trillium dry hopped Sleeper Street. Sunday, dad came back and I opended Lights On & Mosaic Fort Point. Chased with a Pliny, Freak of Nature & a 2013 Abyss. Great weekend full of top notch beer. Others as lucky as I this week?

This weekend may not have been GREAT but it was damn good, including:

Friday: BB Siberian Night, Nightmare on Brett (Leopold Bros. Whiskey Barrel), Growler of Singlecut Mo Shuggie
Sat: CS Progenitor, Other Half Southerhopalistic and Nice Life, Free Will Peach Lambic, BR Tartare Rouge, OB Death by Coconut, Grimm Pulse Wave, and more (over about 8 hours)
Sun: HF Dorothy, Newburgh Hop Drop, Lagunitas High Westified, and some others that were more...lackluster.

Beer intensive weekend for the first time in a while (been deep into making cocktails lately!). Definitely reminded me why I'm so into beer in the first place, after a number of recent lackluster bottles and draughts.

Went to Brussels a while back for work. Got to hit Moeder Lambic to try a few gueze; had another great evening at a touristy spot near Grand Place with some Rocheforts and my first Westy; then just drinking Westmalle and Rodenbach and other classics at other times, often for just a couple euros each. I'm sure a vacation hitting up the breweries and places with vintage bottles would have been even better, but was still a very good time.

It's been a while but my guess would be the last time my son in law broke into his beer vault. I suspect another venture into the dungeon of beervana this next month.

Or was it the last Bruery bottle share or was it sour fest, maybe beer week... They start to all run together...

Too many great beers, too few brain cells..... :grinning:

This past weekend was pretty great:

Friday: Greysail Pour Judgement, Modern Times Fortunate Islands, Singlecut 2X Bon Bon, Singlecut Billy Full Stack, Avery Raja.
Saturday: Modern Times Blazing World, Long Trail Space Juice, Revolution Unsessionable, Weyerbacher SMS.

No whales, but most were first tries for me (besides SMS).

KBS release , drove nine hours with friends and got in line between 3 and 4am with hopes of scoring some KBS. We barely got it, they only had a set amount they were selling that day( this was before it was a ticketed event). They came out and started handing out numbers down the line, my group of four were the last to get numbers. The great beer we drank, along with hanging out with a lot of good people made the cold weather somewhat tolerable. It was really cold!

For me, every weekend has the potential to be a great beer weekend. It really depends on what I decide to pull out of my cellar, or what is available around town. What's great to me may not be good to you, and vice versa. I enjoy drinking beer, and usually do not tie it to specific beers, although I do have a variety of good beer available to me. I have a good time with craft beer. It's all in your head.
