Not on Hunterdon's release list for this week.

I'd suggest checking your usual stores for a reserve list.

KBS will be gone as quickly and suddenly as when it appears. We have better chance of spotting the jersey devil than bottles of KBS at stores.

 

I won't be chasing KBS this year with all the Sunday Morning Stout sitting around in NJ stores at a fraction of the price.

This is by far the most KBS NJ has ever seen for what it's worth.

4 packs won't be sitting on shelves, but it won't be nearly as difficult as in years past.

Yeah I stopped going crazy for KBS awhile ago. Just not worth the effort. Especially when we get BCBS now. And man what a surprise Sunday Morning was. Had low expectations as all their beers are typically average, and it is awesome. And cheap. FOr what it's worth I heard founders sold a case to anyone that purchased 10 cases of breakfast stout. Pretty funny cause the store when they first got breakfast stout gouged the crap out of it at $17 and now that they ordered so much to get the kbs, it's at 8 now. I find the whole thing humerous.

 

Yeah I have seen it for $14 or $15 a 4 pack in a few places. (Joe Canals sells singles for $3.69 and KBS usually runs me anywhere from $7-$9 a bottle.)

Really? Im in Bergen and it went so fast around here. Got a 4pack but havnt found any since. I am in total agreement though. So many good BA coffee stouts now no reason to go haywire over the hype-beast that is KBS.

 

There's just no chance Sunday Morning Stout, as good as it might be, is going to stop anyone from buying KBS. Yes we know, hype and all that crap, but the truth is KBS is a fantastic beer and while Weyebacher makes good beer, they will never make anything that compares to KBS. Ok you might not chase it, and I respect that because beer chasing has gotten ridiculous, but if you see KBS and SMS at your local store at the same time, are you honestly saying you won't buy at least a bottle of KBS in lieu of SMS? I don't think so.

You keep you're SMS and leave KBS for the rest of us.

 

If I see some, I will get maybe a bottle or 2. But I won't try to get a ton with SMS around. I know thats a small sample, but it definitely affected my purchasing decision.
