Where are you finding Rt 101 12pks?

Martignettis in Brighton, near IHOP, had a pretty big pile of them as of last weekend. Its the only place around me I have seen it in 12 packs. I think it was $14/12 pack.

 

The only store I hit in that area is Julio's and they've got them

I don't see the born on dates on the box though, assuming they are on the bottom of the cans? but then you gotta open the box...

 

Saw these at Martignettis, but couldn't find a date any where on the pack. Are these dated?

Some other hoppy stuff in the store was past my aging threshold,

 

I saw 12 packs at Needham Center Fine Wines a couple weeks ago but didn't buy due to freshness (I want to say dated March or April).

 

They are dated on the outside of the box. Don't remember what the date was but it tasted fine last week.

 

Martignetti's had some yesterday and gets regular deliveries. Price ranges from $12-$14 usually. I believe the current stock is from June. Dates are printed in small black font on the box, usually on the green part by the border with the black outer ring. Also, the beer is delicious.

 

Smutty Finest Kind and Sierra Nevada 12-packs are almost always fresh (<2 months) there.

 

I saw route 101 at Julios last Friday, I BELIEVE it was dated 5/11... Didn't really ask if there was any fresher so I don't know if that was the extent of their inventory.

 

The ones I saw at Julio's a month ago were March. I opted for Finest Kind canned in June. I will I could find 101 fresh. It's a solid beer. Had a pint at Fins in Salem. They also had Ipswich Blueberry shandy. Decent summer beer. A different approach thrn Dels. I thought it was better Blueberry/fruit was way more natural.

 

I believe BA DrewShal9 is the local Ipswich rep, maybe he can chime in? He helped me out with the same question recently for a Metro-NW location (Berman's in Lexington was the answer for me).

 

Berman's is great. Lincoln Liquors has the 12 pack cans and to this point it has been moving well. Fresh on a pretty consistent basis.

 

We usually have a few at CBC Newton

 

Saw one in Brookline today for $14.99. Didn't see a date but figured they were fresh since they weren't around last week.

 

picked up 7/21 Captains Daughter and a 6/18 12 pack of route 101 cans at Crosby's Market in Georgetown, which is only 20-30 min from the brewery.
