I've had a good chunk of TG's brews (Golden Nugget, Millennium Falcon, Dorothy's Lager, SoSus, Sue, Assassin and MD) and I've been highly impressed by all of them. To me, they stand up to the best beers I've had from each style, and in some cases, they simply are the best. As others have stated, it's difficult for any brewery to consistently brew excellent beers across a variety of styles, and TG is one of the few I've come across that is nailing it. I've got a KBBS that I'm saving to drink after I (hopefully) land a new job, and I've no doubt that it will be one of the most memorable beers I drink all year. The best part, though, is that these beers come from unassuming small-town Iowa, from some of the friendliest brewers you could ever interact with. Good people behind great beer - what could be better? Now if I could just find a regular TG growler trading partner, I'd be set .
