I'll be visiting the fam out in the Alameda/Oakland area, in early July. I usually go to the BevMo in Jack London Square, but I was thinking there has to be a better bottle shop in the area. Hell, if it's down in San Jose, I'll go. In particular, I'm looking for Maui Brewing (collabs if they are available), Alesmith, Russian River, Lost Abbey, Lagunitas, etc... Any ideas on where to hit up?
Beer Rev is really close to Jack London and a very good bet. Any Whole Foods in the area are good too, the next closest good shops are probably in the city. City Beer is nearish to BART, Healthy Spirits is farther, both have good selections, both are more expensive (they are in the most expensive city in the US, after all). There are many more in the area, you're best off just checking Places if you want more info.

In Alameda, Encinal Market has an okay selection - nothing close to Beer Rev, but if you are stuck on the island it usually has a few things to offer
