Of course THAT "beer run" may be a bit more difficult to sell on my wife...

My first couple bottles came from an international trade, after that from BiaB or a trade with a friend who uses them.

This. Can we make this post a sticky in the New Members forum?

This guy in town has a friend in Belgium who sends him some every so often. I tried it when he brought in a six pack and was letting anyone try.

Didn't know the hype and brought a single bottle home from belgium. Still in the cellar should've got the whole case that was on the floor of the bottle shop

Coworker who was stationed in Belgium for a few years... Sadly, he has just moved back to the states. Two cases already muled back and another two cases he had to leave in Belgium until other coworkers can move the balance...

Nickname given to the 2012 limited boxed set sold briefly in the US as a one-time fund raising event, which contained 6 bottles and 2 glasses.

Just visited Sint Sixtus Abbey this week....had the blond, the 8, and the 12 while eating lunch at the abbey. They even serve ice cream made with the 8. The blond was not anything special, but both the 8 and 12 were outstanding. muling a 24 pack (8 and 12) back as checked baggage tomorrow. Hoping TSA doesn't decide to take a cut.

The loons had thicker dust sitting beside the bricks on the shelf, times have changed since then.
