Wondering what the distribution network of Prairie is like these days? Specifically wondering if it has reached Philly yet. A general listing of where it can be found would really help, both in Philly and any place else for that matter. Thanks!
Wish Prairie made it to NY and NJ. Hopefully it will soon enough. I did get bottles of hop ad prairie ale at pinocchios though, can't imagine they were the only ones in the Philly area. I think the beer shoppe in Ardmore had them too.
Was going to ask the same question. It seems like the distro is much better than seekabrew (still very credible) says. http://www.seekabrew.com/distro/?b=Prairie Artisan Ales Just picked one up yesterday and it was great.
not to hijack the thread... but how credible is seekabrew? I don't use it all that often, but it seems like whenever I do, I notice a few breweries wrong for distro in my state. and the same ones for a few months now...
I think it's user-driven. When NickD ran it he would some times do public roll calls for updates, but now I don't know. Probably takes an email.
Message FalconA with all updates everyone! It is user driven, so it's up to us to keep it up to date. I messaged him about adding Prairie to VT back when it came in, but he said that its actually Krebs Brewery and they just use the name Prairie for certain beers so he added it as Krebs.
Just started getting it in Indiana this month. Had a bottle of Prairie Hop the other day. Absolutely phenomenal.
I've seen Prairie Standard, Prairie Ale and Prairie Hop at my local shop in Bethlehem as well as the Beer Shoppe in Ardmore.
For what it's worth, Prairie's website has a map of their distribution footprint. That being said, they show it as being in VA, but I haven't seen it here yet.
Yeah, they're supposed to be in DC and Maryland too, but the only time I've seen anything from Prairie in the area was on tap at ChurchKey during CBC week. I've been bugging my beer guy about them incessantly and he's heard nothing from the distributor.
