Where is Stella Artois bottled?

    Hi all,

    I've been researching to try to find out if the Stella that is sold in the States is also brewed here. I understand AB now owns it, so if it's brewed and bottled here for the Americans, rather than actually being imported, the water and ingredients are no doubt not the same standards as in Europe.

    The reverse. InBev bought Anheuser-Busch and formed AB InBev.

    But for the U.S. market I believe that Stella Artois is imported from Belgium via the AB distribution network.

    It's brewed in Leuven, Belgium and brought over in ships to the United States.
