I don't know how they do it, but the Backyard Grille in West Springfield has Be Hoppy on tap EVERY time I've been there for the past 18 months. This is decidedly not a craft beer place, but they have it way more than McGladdens, for example. I suppose it could just be sitting there because of the non-craft crowd that frequents the place (I have had several not-optimal Be Hoppy experiences there).

Be Hoppy on tap is a pretty easy find MA wide. In my experiences.

Drat! Must have sat 8' from the entrance of that tent...drinking water. All they've ever had before is Coors Lite and something else that's not quite that good.

If anyone needs be hoppy cans - let me know. Would be more than hoppy to grab some. See what I did there?

In western mass, Wormtowm is distributed by Williams, a mostly AB InBev house. It was kind of a smart move, might have gotten lost in a larger portfolio like Craft or Atlantic. As IPAs get more popular with the general public it's easy for a bar already carrying Bud, Stella, Shock Top, etc, to ask their salesperson what they carry. Ithaca, Wormtown, Harpoon, Goose Island and a few others. No need to open a new account.

Redstone Stoneham got some in today. Probably gone at this point but figured I'd mention it here just in case

Interesting. I didn't realize they would be bottling Be Hoppy. (Just assumed it would be cans.) Here's the facebook photo:[IMG]

They have been dialing in their bottling line for a while. They were only canning in the interim with Iron Heart Mobile Canning. I am actually pretty excited for Be Hoppy in 6 packs. I believe the idea was to really amp up retail production once the bottling line was in, and it looks like that has happened!

Ok, I'm ready for rocks to be thrown at me, but I don't care where Wormtown is anymore. The last couple times I've gotten Be Hoppy, it's been mediocre at best. Anyone else notice?? Running away now.

Don't worry, it's okay for you to have different tastes than other people. No need to run.

I'm not able to find Be Hoppy available in cans/bottles in my area, but I have it on draft regularly and if anything I think it's gotten better since the new brewery opened.
