Afrech1 thanks. HDG went to Wegmans today just for chicken parm for dinner. But alwasy cruise thru liquor section. Sitting on shelf was 1 six pack! This probably means it hit moat places up and down rte 9. Did not check Julio's or Austins. Also probably means it has or will make its way up and down 495. In Franklin, I bet Crafted posts something.

Found Be Hoppy served on the Cape at Dino's in Mashpee. Haven't seen it in stores.

For those working/living downtown, Hopsters Alley just got some Be Hoppy cans in, 2 per person. I lucked out and was already on my way to the Public Market to pick up some veggies for dinner (that place is so awesome). Cheers!

I was also able to take advantage of that today as well. They also had Foley Brothers in stock (Citrennial).

Saw that. No wonder it can't be found in stores. Looks like they bottled Bottle Rocket today.

A bit off topic, but I was sending my friend some links of places to get a beer when he's in town this weekend and was very pleased to see that not only is Be Hoppy on draft at Picco (as it often is), it's damn cheap: $5.50 for a pint. I never noticed the price before (probably because my bill also had pizzas and ice cream on it), but it's refreshing to see pricing like that for a great beer. Makes the $7.50 Sculpin right below it on the menu must less appealing.

FWIW, I found some Be Hoppy cans sitting in the cooler in Great Barrington yesterday(the place on the north end of downtown up by the bridge), so those out West, keep your eyes out.

Edit: and Boom Sauce. Be Hoppy's much better... and $3 cheaper a 4 pack.

@Afrech1 if you guys can't keep the shelves fully stocked with product, isn't it a bit of a slap in the face to the people who have been supporting the brand since the beginning to ship beer to a place that is going to gouge like crazy? This comes across like Wormtown is more concerned with building hype, rather than getting it into the hands of the people that have supported you guys enough to have a new brewery. It has been easy to not buy Be Hoppy because you basically have to truck chase for it, it is now even easier to not buy it with decisions like this.

    Or maybe it's an opportunity.

An opportunity to sell their beer at a place that [might be] difficult to break into, which in turn generates revenue, which they could then could pump into their operation and then produce and sell more beer at liquor stores.

I think a lot of people on this site have a distorted (and entitled) view of how things work. Breweries are not just some home brew operations on a larger scale. They are businesses. I'm sure many breweries are committed first to creating great beer(s), but money is important too and not to be overlooked.

Wormtown's history would indicate that they're just going for some quick, easy cash grab.

For the first time in a long time I was underwhelmed by a Be Hoppy. Bottle dated 8/11. It may have been due to the fact that I had an Alter Ego before it.

In the name of science I will make sure to have a Be Hoppy first tonight and see if there is s difference.

Not in the cooler, maybe 3-4 4 packs left. Who knows, he might have had some inside the bigger coolers though.
