Where is the Wormtown?

Such a bummer, and to me it seems like a huge mistake. They make a lot of great beers. Norm was a cut above and without much coconut porter/stout competition around here.

 

5.4 miles from that Wegmans to the brewery. I know because last Saturday when they said no limit on Be Hoppy I trusted the gps instead of just taking the Pike. Now I know when the wife wants to go to Wegmans it's only a 5 mile sidetrip to Wormtown.

 

Redstone had 6 packs yesterday. (It's also on tap all the time around where I live, so I didn't buy any.)

 

In response to the Norm:

We are all bummed that Norm won't be made this winter. Please understand this though, this was very difficult to decide. The effort that it takes to brew that beer is wild. Also we have had a hard time sourcing the amount of coconut that we need. With those factors along with our production schedule we just can't do it. It will be done again, just not this season. On the plus side Sweet Tatts will be brewed soon so we have that to look forward to.

No Norm.....Seriously, this sucks.

Was there on Sunday and was able to get a Be Hoppiest fill, but that was only four days after the Insta post.

 

Yes, there is still Be Hoppiest on. Not much left though, maybe 5 kegs.

Cans of Be Hoppy, Sixers of Bottle Rocket and Fresh Patch.

 

Made it by on Friday for a growler and taste. Excellent beer. Would love to see it canned or bottled. Wet hop IPA was very good too.

Sorry for the thread jack but Hodad was mentioned.
My bro in law who is not into craft had a bunch of beers in his garage that he said to take, he lives in Northern VT. One was a Hodad so I grabbed it among some other randoms. Just looked now and the canned date is 8/7/14, yes 2014, does Hodad age well? Or is this a lost cause?

 

To keep this on track, I had my first Bottle Rocket this weekend and I thought it was really good for a pale ale, hopefully this gets bottled regularly.

 

Yup I thought Bottle Rocket was nice as well. Probably more to my liking than Be Hoppy.
