Usually at my desk or the couch in front of the big screen. I do like a pub with good brews available but a DUI is a bad beef nowadays. Many years ago we'd drive up to Milwaukee just to tour the brewery's up there. To this day I love a brewery and really like visiting the micros.

Most nights it will be in the man cave in front of the gaming TV while I can drink and chat with my friends during various Xbox games. Kinda my Cheers I guess.

For a pint or goblet, the Porch at whole foods here has literally the best chance of a good beer, reasonably priced.

In my lazy boy watching the Boston Bruins beat up on some other team....either that or my new favorite restaurant, the "Grill Next Door" in Haverhill, MA.

I really enjoy having a brew on my couch in my living room with a couple friends watching a UFC event on PPV. Watching the fights acts as somewhat of a tasting event at my place for the past couple of years.

Sticks and Stones in Greensboro for a Foothills Jade or Hoppyum most week days. Used to be a gas station, then empty, then a Cajun place, finally, perfectly, Sticks and Stones. Right down the street from Bestway- top 3 beer store in the state- in an old genuine urban infill business district (close by UNCG). Sticks and Stones is a very creative restaurant, with a hugely diverse clientele, also with a very active and fun bar scene. I've shopped in, worked in, and loved the Lindley Park neighborhood since I was a boy. Ran The Pickwick, saw The Allman Brothers (in 1968) at The End Zone (mindblowing for a high school junior)- both establishments still in business with different owners and names. It's in my blood by now. Cheers.

One of the few things I really miss since leaving Virginia. Ben and Malia are the best and their place is class.

Definitely my "man cave" basement set up, where my beer fridge is always well stocked and sports are always on the TV. Lately I've grown tired of the banter on the TV so I turn off the sound, turn on some good music, and enjoy a few good brews while watching the action and surf the net.

Like most in the comfort of my home on the couch but occasionally I go down the road to Cisco Brewery for something fresh.
