Chicago. Large metro area near several other good craft beer cities in Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan. I want to say Madison, wi but that would be greedy considering we already have the great taste of the Midwest.

u realize that all the crime and murders that people are complaining about happen to occur to the south and west of the loop right?

Tampa. Great craft beers, delicious food, great weather and some of the best strip clubs around.

Plus it is super close to where I live and I am selfish.

If you draw a triangle using those 3 cities as vertices, you end up with a triangle covering (part of) Illinois. THAT'S the "great beer triangle"?! WHAT? I thought it to be the "great cornfield triangle".

I attended All Good there once which is why I mentioned it. Except for all the coal mines, falling rock areas, the seemingly pointless nets on winding mountain roads, the insane amount of Confederate flags in a state that belonged to the Union, and the fact the some people I could barley understand when they spoke. Its was a beautiful state and I mean truly some of the best scenery I've ever seen live in person. If they took the Masontown All Good location and put a beer fest there it would be so awesome however pretty difficult to get to.

Should be an area that doesn't already have a big time Fest, so knock out Denver, Madison, Portland, Asheville, Durham, and Chattanooga, among others.

The area should have some big buzz breweries and really good brewpubs and craft beer bars easily accessible from the site. I'd rule out convention capitals Las Vegas and Orlando on that basis.

Though obviously New York or Philly would be good for me, if you really want to change things up, move out of not only New England, but the whole Northeast corridor.

Personally, I'd like Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Indianapolis, or Chicago, during baseball season.

    I'll give a few locations

    1. Indianapolis (central location and mostly easy to get to)
    2. Chicago (central location and easy to get to)
    3. St. Louis (central location and mostly easy to get to)
    4. Kansas City (central location and mostly easy to get to)

We already have GABF in Denver so another place more in the middle of the country seems to be a good choice. Indy has a great downtown, hosts lots of large events and a growing craft beer scene. All the other cities I listed rock for their own reasons.

Dallas, Texas or Fort Worth,Texas (DFW region)

There is currently several small new breweries started in the DFW region, with a growing population of beer enthusiast. Texas is not really known for its beer, so an event such as described might change that.

Though if DFW is not an option. Any major city at the center of the continental U.S. would be ideal for transportation reasons.
