Lancaster,PA. Plenty of room (lancaster city park, farmland etc.) 1-2 hours from major cities(NYC,DC, BAL, Philly) would help as a catalyst with the growing craft beer culture in Lancaster. Easily accessible by train too! Bring it on!!

Chicago. All these other city suggestions are great to, but chicago everything on the checklist. Just don't drink too much and hop a train to the south side on accident.

Nope... It's just Seattle in mid July through September (for the most part).

For doing some thought, let me annotate that BA, as well as everybody else on this forum, needs to contemplate licensed beverage laws in the anticipated hosting state.
Illinois' laws are not quite there yet. But this has the possibility of changing in the next four years. If you got in the time machine, and went back a century; would you actually inform the citizens of Plainfield and Wheaton that within that time, their “dry”city would host a beer festival? I think you would be quickly hustled off to the insane asylum. ["A time traveller?! In a town founded by drys?!"]
I think it could be done in Chicago, but there are things which will stick out as annoyances.
    • Airport hotels charge for parking.
    • Downtown (and river north) hotels charge for exhaling. %
    • Inexpensive hotels exist, but they're not close to public transportation that runs 14-18 {or 24} hours a day.
But I'll be magnanimous and put out a list:
    • Chicago, IL.
    • St. Louis, MO.
    • Las Vegas, NV.
    • Reno, NV.
    • Albuquerque, NM.
    • Minneapolis, MN.
    • Baltimore, MD.
    • Louisville, KY.
    • Cleveland, OH.
    • Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
% = OK, this is hyperbole. But these hotels will charge $129.00 | night, want another $10 | night for internet access, and the parking garage may not be its, but it will get $24 | day.

+1 I think because SD is so rich with breweries to begin with not very many from other cities and states make it out to beer fests here, would be awesome to see one with more rare beer from other parts of the country. But also for selfish reasons
