So a bunch of self-entitled beer geeks should be the ones determining business plans?? Wow.

No one "needs" any of these beers.

So you think someone else should sacrifice their free time so that you don't have to drive as far to buy beer?
I'm astounded you thing anyone else is being selfish here.

Come on, man- Alchemist isn't brewing/distributing enough HT to make some random BA happy. ACTION MUST BE TAKEN! IT'S NOT FAIR!!

I'm joking. I think the stuff is over-rated and but will patiently for it's hopeful return and if doesn't return, then life goes on (though it would be nice if they could brew enough to keep 43rd largest state supplied with their brew).

Just one more reason why living in Southern VT sucks :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry, have to stop typing on my phone with no reading glasses. Love Vermont, but am glad I grew up elsewhere.

    No soup beer for you!

Why should he send it anywhere, there is more profit for a brewer if he sell all of his product at retail from his own location and eliminates a wholesale step in between. The fact that it shows up at local establishments is nice and a bonus in my book.

I use the analogy of the local artisan baker. Do folks who can't get the baker's bread where they live because of only local distribution get all bent out of shape? I'll never understand some BA's entitlement to distribution.

but hardly environmentally friendly (if he cares) to have thousands of people driving and flying to get his stuff, when a couple of trucks can ship it out with the other stuff and drop it off at retail outlets. They can even be his trucks, buy a couple of trucks and drivers. Whatever, I think the stuff is great beer but alot of hype.

Anyone know if Alchemist is cash-only sales, or do they take plastic? Also, since it belongs in this forum anyway, same question for NEBCo. Cash? Plastic?

Don't recognize Band of Brothers member Babe Heffron? And me of course, kidding, my son.
I think whatever the Alchemist does if fine, just send a case down here every once in a while.
