Hey everyone, I am traveling to Burlington next week for work. I'm already planning on hitting up Alchemist, Hill Farmstead and Lawsons. Any advice for good beer bars or bottle shops in the area? Much appreciated in advance! Tim
Bars: 1. Farmhouse Tap and Grill - Burlington 2. Mule Bar - Winooski 3. American Flatbread/Zero Gravity Brewing - Burlington Shops: 1. Beverage Warehouse - Winooski 1a. Pearl St. Beverage - Burlington 2. Route 7 Liquor and Deli - Shelburne 3. Guild Fine Meats - Burlington These shops all get the same distro more or less, but they're all worth checking out.
City market also has a decent bottle selection, Right down town. U save beverage in south burlington has some good growler fills from time to time, check their Facebook
I was just up there two weekends ago and can vouch for Pearl St Beverage. Great selection, great prices (compared to home). We also hit up Farmhouse for lunch, Zero Gravity, Vermont Pub & brewery, Fiddlehead, BreakWater cafe/bar (live music, on the water), and a bunch of bars on Church St. School will be in session, so expect a college crowd at night. You wont be able to hit up Lawsons as they dont have a visit-able facility, but might be able to find some in store (or farmer's market on the weekend). You'll have to search to get more details on that front. Alchemist has been selling out on thursdays, so be sure you keep an eye on their twitter for updates. HF is a bit of a haul from the city, but absolutely worth it if you have time. Lost Nation and Rock Art breweries are in between, and worth a stop.
