I just got a pound of Citra today . It is in a Hopunion bag. Should I Freeze or Refrigerate them? I will be using 8 oz on Friday, and will Vacuum seal the rest. But I am not sure where to store them. thanks.

The freezer will be fine for the meantime. They don't stick together. After you take half out just vacuum seal the rest and throw them back in the freezer.

Vac and freeze the 8 oz that you're not going to use now separately. You don't want to freeze them all together because when you take them out of the freezer and expose them to the air, they'll get some undesirable condensation on them, which you'll then make 'permanent' by putting them back in the freezer (think frost on the ice cream)

Break them up for street level distribution and then vacuum pack and freeze.

In case you don't have a vacuum sealer you can stuff them into a canning jar (which has an airtight seal) and stick them in the fridge. I have read that this is the next best thing for people who do not have a way to seal them back the way that they came.
