+1 for Foam, beautiful place to watch the sun set over the lake, and the beers are tremendous.

 

Good list. I would add Faction Brewery (Alameda, CA) which had a great view of SF and Bay and Golden Gate Bridges. Also, Caldera in Ashland, Oregon.

 

Jester King, particularly in the evenings... got that limestone Texas thing going on and being out in a bit of arid climate... real neat scenery and vibe, different and very neat.

Von Trapp as already mentioned by far.

 

That's a different view from what I have from several years ago. Things are changing.

 

This... I'll add Great Valley Farm Brewing in Natural Bridge as well.

De Dolle Stille Nacht Makes it a special holiday. Glad I’ve been saving some from past years in case...

 

I forgot Beards Prewing in Petosky MI. We were ther two weeks back, and the view of Little Travers Bay on Lake MI was a surprise. Good beer and eclectic food.

I spaced on Elevation Brewing, great beer and views. Glad it was mentioned above.

If we are including German breweries now,the patio at Kloster Andechs is nice. Brewery Eck in Böbrich Niederbayern is great.

So many great places so little time

Full Sail Brewing is a nice spot as well especially when the windsurfers are out on the river

 

Is that from the Lodge or the actual brewery/tap room down the road? If it's the former that's kind of cheating isn't it? Regardless, the views sitting outside at the tap room are nothing to sneeze at either if I recall correctly.

This picture looks exactly like the view I had when we visited the Lodge. By the higher up view do you mean right up the hill where the main lodge is? I don't recall a "lower tap room", granted we didn't spend a ton of time at either the brewery or the lodge. Unless by lower tap room you mean the brewery/tap room a half mile/mile down the road.

You should get married there now! There was a wedding they were setting up for the day I was there. If I ever decide to get married, that's one of the top spots I'd choose for my wedding.

Hmm, for some reason I don't remember having a great view of the lake from the patio at Foam. Aren't there a bunch of trees in the way?

Still a nice spot, I also dug how cozy it is inside.

 

Sadly, I haven't been to many breweries myself, but the Picaroon's Roundhouse here in Fredericton, New Brunswick has a fantastic location. It sits right along the scenic St. John River which is quite beautiful year round (yes, even covered with ice and snow).

Metropolitans new taproom in Chicago. If you like your lager served with generous helpings of urban and river. It's easily the best in the city for that.

 

How could I not remember Hofbrau Tegernsee? On a lake surrounded by the Bavarian Alps. The pictures change on the website, wait for the one of the lake and mountains.
