    Been mentioned above, but deserves mentioning again. Spezialkeller in Bamberg, Germany.

    Yup.

    Frankly, choosing anything in the Gorge is almost cheating. Full Sail is dead center in this shot, Big Horse Brewing is about 3 blocks up the hill in one of those houses, and pFriem is just out of frame to the right, downhill from the Tofurkey factory.

    And that picture doesn't do sufficient justice to Pelican's setting. It's one of the most beautiful beaches in Oregon. The entire Cape Kiwanda area is fantastic. I want to live in Pacific City so I can just walk to the beach and the Pelican! Sitting on the beach on a warm, sunny day watching the surfers, you'd swear you were in Southern California. And the beer, ambiance and food at the Pelican are great!

    There are so many! A lot of beautiful locations were already mentioned, but a couple that weren't: Oxbow Brewing in Newcastle, ME; Live Oak in Austin, TX;

    AleSong near Eugene, OR;
    [IMG]

    Thunder Island Brewing Co., in the previously mentioned Columbia Gorge in OR:

    I'm also throwing Trve Brewing in here because everything is metal and that's dope AF:

    Also going to specifically second Brouwerij't IJ in Amsterdam. Even though people associate the Netherlands with windmills there are surprisingly few of them... and one of the few is a freaking brewery! AND they make good beer.

    Also also, note to self: really got to get to the Pelican in Pacific City! Such a contrast between that and it's Tillamook location. And Spezialkeller, goddamn!

    Pacific City Pelican location is also the only place on the west coast where fishermen launch wooden dories though the surf to go fishin'

    That's the first that came to mind!

    ps-Funny story, back in March this year I had just arrived there and was looking at just that scenery, when the guy parked in the car next to me asked for a jump as his battery was dead. So I took the cables from him, as he looked pretty cooked, and I connected the cables. So I proceeded to start my car, he went into his car and started the car, but his cables had practically melted! He blamed my battery for melting his cables, I just laughed! :grinning:
