I'll be 28 in May, and I'm a BA. Not sure if that's young enough for some (haven't bothered to read more than a few of these posts). I would like to think that I'm somewhat unique, but I'm sure I could be stereotyped with the best of 'em.

Even though I enjoy many different styles of beer, I don't necessarily gravitate to crazily hopped, soured or oaked brews.

22 here. When I got to college at age 18, I got tired of relying on others to buy me alcohol so I started brewing. Been brewing since then and drinking (legally) since I was 20 when I lived in Ireland.

I'm 22 and have never bought anything other than craft. A few of my friends are into craft as well, but most are stuck in the BMC phase.

22 here as well. I feel lucky to enjoy the increasing variety of craft offerings in the market. If I were born just a few decades earlier, I'm not sure I would like to drink beer at all...

This thread reminds me of the old AOL chat rooms in the 90's and asking for age/sex/location.

Really. My first beer, period, was just a few months before my 21st birthday, and it took a lot of pressure to even try it then. And it sucked. I drank less than two ounces before giving up on the bottle. Thought I'd hate beer forever and ever.

21st birthday: my older brother gives me La Fin du Monde. Pours it into an oversized wine glass (all that was available). Immediately and irreversibly changes my attitude towards beer. When I turn 27 this summer, I'll be drinking a bottle of La Fin du Monde - as I do every year on my birthday - to mark the occasion.

21 here and love it. I started last year in May when I first started working at a liquor store. My first craft beer was a St. Bernardus Abt 12. I will always have a soft spot for that one. I dont plan on stopping drinking this craft beer.
